Suggested Gear:

  • pants
  • Thermal underwear/top and bottom
  • socks - 7 pair (avoid cotton)
  • long sleeved shirts and t shirts
  • wool or polar fleece sweater
  • good rain gear (jacket and pants)
  • warm hat / sun hat
  • warm/waterproof gloves/mitts
  • light hiking boots/casual shoes/ rubber boots
  • casual clothes for the lodge
  • sunglasses
  • personal toiletries
  • prescription drugs (bring a spare set if possible)
  • identification (passports are now required to return to the US from Canada)
  • camera / memory cards/ film / video recorder
  • chargers for any electronic items
  • bug spray
  • sunscreen / lip balm

We have rubber boots as well as hip waders in camp for our guests to use if they dont want to bring thier own. our waders are the cabelas guide series and rubber boots are lacross. we keep the most popular sizes in camp at all times.

Suggested Fishing Gear:

  • Spinning 1 medium wt spinning rod with 12 lb test.
  • 1 ultra light spinning rod with 6 lb test
  • Fly rod 5 to 8 wt. with floating and sinking line.
Lake Trout
  • 1 oz dare devils (5 of diamonds is always good)
  • Reef runners/shad raps/rapalas
  • Storm rubber fish are also good popular flies
  • leeches/imitation mice/streamers are all good
Northern Pike
  • all the lures for lake trout will work but add some 30lb steel leaders for spincasting, 30 to 80 lb mono for fly fishing.
Arctic Grayling
  • 1/8th oz panther martins (all colors)
  • Mepps (all colors)
  • best flies are elk hair caddis, black nats.
